Hair Butters
How to Use a Hair Butter
Hair butters work best as a sealant. After cleansing and conditioning, apply a leave-in (liquid), then a cream (cream), then your hair butter (oil/butter) to lock everything in. This is the LCO method, and it's why your moisture finally lasts more than 24 hours.
A little goes a long way. Warm a small amount between your palms until it melts, then smooth through damp or dry hair, focusing on the ends.
Who Our Hair Butters Are For
Anyone with textured, curly, coily or wavy hair that drinks moisture and asks for more. They're safe enough for children's hair (Halle, our six-year-old namesake, uses them) and rich enough for adult routines, protective styles, twist-outs, braid-outs and wash days.
